Despite the weather conditions Jack and Ben heading to the Velo29 winter series for a hit out before travelling to Spain this week for 10-days training in Calpe. Starting in the scratch group with 4minutes handicap to the front of the race had the potential to be quite tricky with the wind.
With the strength of the wind the tactic was always to aim split the group, whenever there was a crosswind, Jack attacked first, followed straight over the top by Ben who managed to escape the group only three laps into the race, this was the last anyone saw of him and he time trialled his way to a convincing victory, a great start to the season for him and the team. Jack was fourth in the end putting both riders in the top 5.
In the 4th Cat race Trevor made is racing debut finishing an excellent sixth place.
