A very tough and difficult day from the start on a grippy 112km loop with two categorised climbs. Ben forced himself into the break which was then caught by a decimated peloton of 30 riders at the foot of the first category climb.
Brad was part of this group but was taken out on the descent of the climb, damaging his bike but he fought back finishing the stage on a neutral bike.
Martin and Jack finished well within the third group on the road.
Unfortunately after snapping his chainring yesterday, Charlie started the stage on a 53cm neutral service bike, the bike was far too small and this combined with the terrain and pace meant he did not finish the stage.
Tomorrow sees the 7th stage of the race a 8km mountain top finish.
