E/1/2: After some negative comments last week the team felt they had a point to prove this week, active from the gun and forcing a 3-man move away of Colin, Tom and Ben Rowe. The trio pilled on the pressure, lapping the field at half distance, once the junction was made Ben Hetherington made a solo move establishing a 10sec gap at the head of the race, Alex followed shortly after with a group of six including Jack later making contact with him. Ben managed to maintain his gap all the way to the line taking 4th, Jack out sprinting the group behind for 5th and Alex 7th.
Finishing off the back of the bunch but a lap ahead Ben Rowe sprinted in for a deserved victory illustrating his great current form, with the strongest man in the race Tom 2nd and Colin 3rd bouncing back from disappointment last week.
3/4: A big field and fast pace throughout meant moves were always going to be difficult to stick, Joel and Josh however were both active throughout trying to force a move away, with Josh coming back with 2 laps to go it all came down to a bunch sprint, leading it out from the bottom corner Joe Davison managed to hold on to 3rd with the pocket rocket Richie Allen showing his turn of speed to take a great victory.
Youth: Linking up well together, Joe, Ben and Richie rode as a unit throughout controlling the race, not content with his fantastic win earlier in the 3/4, Richie Allen won the race overall, with Ben Moody finishing 4th and Joe Wilson winning the U14, our youth D superstar Joel continued were he left off at Croft winning the D category by 11secs.
