3/4/Masters: Carl continued his development with a fantastic 2nd place, away for the majority of the race with Jamie Sharp of Feather Cycles, behind Jason and Darran rode excellently to finish at the head of what remained of the bunch.
E12; Jack attacked from the gun establishing a minute lead after two laps with Richard Jones and Ali Kay of York Cycleworks. On the sixth lap a group of eleven riders containing all the race favourites made the junction.
The group of 14 cooperated well for the next 6 laps to build up a lead in excess of 3 mins. Then the attacking started Tom attacked with 3 laps to establishing a lead of 30secs with 2 laps to go three riders (Rees, Shackleton & Kay) joined Tom and had a lead of 50 secs with 2 laps to go. This move was nullified on the testing back part of the circuit, as the group came together Shackleton attacked solo, maintaining a slender advantage all the way to the line to take a deserved win. Alex was 2nd to increase his series lead with Jack 3rd despite being active all day. Ben and Rich also finished well for places in the top ten with Tom just outside after leaving everything on the road.
